'The Alpha And The Omega is the first new material to be released by Karda Estra since The Age Of Science And Enlightenment CD. As on that album, and to quote the DPRP review, the track has "a distinct pre-occupation with the macabre... The music is dark and brooding for the most part, with an ethereal quality conveyed by classical instrumentation and choral voices".
