Five Knights And A Muse (2007) Dancer Susana Weingarten has produced a Music / Dance / Theater Experimental DVD which features five improvisations to different pieces of music - one of which is the Karda Estra piece Cassiopeia - View. Pure (2003) US feature film - 'Dorothea's Nightmusic' is on the soundtrack. King Lear (Oct 2001) Manish Tiwary's latest short - this time using extracts from 'Sparks That Flash and Fall' from Eve. SIGNATURE (March 2001) - KE music - The Pale Ray, Dorothea's Nightmusic and The Ribbon Of Extremes A project with London based artist Sarah Varney. Sarah specialises in abstract and bodypainting, using acrylics and other water based paint. Unlike Yves Klein in the 60s who used models, Sarah covers herself in paint and impresses her body onto paper, canvas and board with amazing results. Karda Estra provided the music for Sarah's arthouse film 'Signature' which premiered in London at the end of January. The film - which is just under 8 mins - is due to be featured on mainstream TV as well as being released as a video installation for an exhibition of Sarah's paintings later in 2001. The venue and date have yet to be confirmed. Sarah is a professional artist and a creative consultant and more details of her paintings and creative workshops can be seen at www.wotsthebigidea.co.uk. Original score completed March 2000 - Film: CHAOS (feature) 'When I heard Richard's sample CD, I knew instinctively that he was the right composer for CHAOS. Fortunately, my high expectations were not only equalled but surpassed. Richard produced an extremely atmospheric and suitably eerie score against a very tight deadline. Having found him both open to ideas, but wholly inovative himself, I fully intend commissioning him for my next feature. My only fear is, Hollywood may have snapped him up in the meantime!' Original score completed September 1999 for RIVER - a short film by Steve Chapman (included on the Karda Estra album 'Thirteen From The Twenty First') Original score completed June 1999 for REPERCUSSIONS Mark Barrow returned to me for his next short film which had some airing on ITV. (included on the Karda Estra album 'Thirteen From The Twenty First') Original score completed April 1999 for REX MUNDI - a short film by Keith Phillips.
